The Mille GT Thermo Rain Shell is a knickers-length rain pant that offers maximum protection for the lower half of the body. It is made from ergonomically matched stoftshell textiles that are lightweight yet stormproof.
Protective cycling shorts for rainy weather: the Mille GT Thermo Rain Shell by ASSOS
The main material is ASSOS’ wind- and waterproof NEOS Ultra, a lightweight, highly breathable, double-layer softshell textile with bonded PU membrane that fully protects against rain, splashing water, icy wind and low temperatures in the leg area. For better protection, a slightly thicker three-layer NEOS Mild is incorporated in the lower third of the pants. The waistband of the pants fits comfortably on the hips and has no clunky closures. At the identical time, it’s cut slightly higher on the backside and has a silicone insert that retains the pants non-slip and securely in place. The open-edged finish of the hems and trouser legs contribute to a clean transition to boots and overshoes and allow for uncomplicated putting on and taking off over shoes.

Technologies
ALS (ASSOS Layering System)
Less is more. The entire ASSOS collection is designed with this philosophy in mind. The goal in developing ASSOS textiles is to use the body’s natural thermoregulatory properties with a minimum of weight and volume through different layers of clothing. Both the fabrics and the garments are always designed to perform their specific function and to complement each other perfectly. Everything interlocks like a puzzle, both technically and aesthetically.
AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design)
The know-how, the experience and the philosophy with which the fit of the products is worked out and designed to harmonize perfectly with the riding position on the bike is called ASSOS AEPD. ASSOS clothing is designed to perfectly fit and merge with the body on the bike. High-tech materials are basically useless unless they are perfectly cut and finished.
